During licensed production of the Fokker D.XXI in the 2nd World War, Finland experienced a shortage of the original British Bristol Mercury engines. Therefore, the Fokker D.XXI was redesigned to accept the US Pratt and Whitney Twin Wasp Junior engines. The 4th produced series (4.sarja) of this aircraft used the Pratt and Whitney engine. This new Special Hobby kit offers Fokker D. XXI 4. sarja early with slotless wings. The kit has excellent representation of the interior tubular construction and crisp details. It contains photo-etched parts, injected canopy and decals for three very attractive Finnish machines.
