When it was introduced in the early 1980s, the AV-8B Harrier II instantly proved it wasn't just a minor redesign of the original Hawker Harrier. Changes included an elevated cockpit and a completely revamped fuselage and wing, as well as two more hard-points than the original's five. These features made it an essential combat aircraft during the first Gulf War. Since then, the Harrier II has been utilized in 2001's Operation Enduring Freedom and the still-in-progress Operation Odyssey Dawn. Kit features decals and assembly instructions.
