Training for the tilt-rotors
Training to fly a completely new type of aircraft isn't easy. That's why, when the US Marine Corps started transitioning from traditional helicopters to the tilting-rotor MV-22 Osprey, they assigned VMMT-204 the job of training new pilots. Since 1972, that group has been training Marine Corps aviators. It wasn't until 1999, however, that they started bringing in the first Ospreys. Since then, well over 100 pilots have experienced the speed and vertical landing capabilities of this remarkable aircraft. This limited edition kit features detailed parts and VMMT-204 decals.
